Hello! I wanted to take a few moments to introduce myself.
My name is Ashley, and my family and I call Northwest Georgia home. While we’re now planting roots here, our journey has taken us across the country. We originally came from the Pacific Northwest before spending the last eight years in the high desert of New Mexico.
My husband is currently in his 17th year of military service and has been my best friend for as long as I can remember. We met when we were just 15 years old, and over the years we’ve experienced every season of life together—the highs, the lows, and everything in between.
We also have 15-year-old kids, who are without a doubt the greatest blessing of my life.
By profession, I’m a paramedic, a career that has taught me resilience, compassion, and gratitude. But baking and homesteading are where I find peace. They slow life down, fill my heart, and remind me that some of the best moments are found around a kitchen table or out in the garden or hanging with the chickens.
I’m just a regular girl who loves creating things with my hands. I’ve never attended culinary school, but some of my fondest memories are of standing beside my Nanny in her kitchen, learning that the secret ingredient was always love. Those memories continue to inspire everything I bake today.
Thank you so much for stopping by. Whether you’re here for fresh baked goods, coffee syrups, farm-fresh eggs, or simply to follow along on our homesteading journey, I’m so glad you’re here.
This is only the beginning, and I can’t wait to share what’s ahead.
